I wrote the plot of this novel thinking it will become a graphic novel. And then the publisher I was working with, decided not to take it forward. Meanwhile, the three adventurous kids in the novel kept on banging in my head, demanding thast I put their story on paper. It wasn’t in the plans but I took time out to complete their story. Now I have now completed the manuscript of this book (yes, I have!) and am currently editing it. From there, it will be a long haul some rejections (and hopefully one selection) and banging the doors of publishers.
The book is about three children, Kartik, Opus and Tashi who live in the small city-town of Kurseong in West Bengal. It’s a detective fiction (as the title should tell you) will lots of twists, action, surprises and quirky characters thrown in. This is my first novel for children and I hope I will be able to do justice to this beautiful genre.
To be published as soon as it’s accepted and processed by a publisher
